China West International Equipment Manufacturing Exposition (CWIEME), approved by the Ministry of Science and Technology of the People’s Republic of China, jointly organized by China Machinery Industry Federation and Xi’an Municipal Government and Chengdu Municipal Government, undertaken by Xi’an Sunlane Science and Technology Conference & Exhibition Co., Ltd. and Chengdu Sunlane Science and Technology Conference & Exhibition Co., Ltd., is an international equipment manufacturing industry exposition which takes place twice a year, with its spring session in Xi’an and the fall session in Chengdu.

As the only exposition in China’s western areas fully participated and organized by China Machinery Industry Federation, CWIEME has been assessed as the Top-ten Brand Exposition of Xi’an during 2005-2007, Top-ten Machinery Exposition in China’s Electromechanical Industry 2006, the 2nd of Industrial Equipments Category of Top-3 China Famous Exposition - Golden Finger Award 2007, China's Most Influential Exhibition Brands of 2008. CWIEME is known as one of the 3 largest china industrial equipments expositions (Shanghai Industrial Exposition, Shenyang Equipment Manufacturing Exposition, China West International Equipment Manufacturing Exposition), the No.1 industrial exposition in China west areas because of its large scale, professionalism and internalization.
The total exhibition area of the previous CWIEMEs reaches 350,000㎡ , the total exhibitors(enterprises) reach more than 5,000, attracting more than 280,000 visitors, with a turnover about billions of yuan.
